Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies have learned their opponents for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League. The draw took place at the Complex Mohamed VI in Salé, Morocco. This year’s competition is scheduled to take place from November 9 to 23.
In this year’s tournament, the two-time Continental Queens have been placed in Group B alongside Egypt’s Tutankhamun FC, Ethiopia’s CBE FC and Nigeria’s Edo Queens.
Group A features South Africa’s University of the Western Cape (UWC), Morocco’s AS FAR, Senegal’s Aigles De La Médina and DR Congo’s TP Mazembe. The top two finishers from both groups will advance to the knockout stages.

This marks the second edition of the tournament to be hosted in Morocco, following the 2022 event, which was won by the hosts, AS FAR.
The Brazilians secured victory in last year’s tournament held in Ivory Coast, as well as in the inaugural edition hosted in Egypt in 2021.
Domestically, Sundowns Ladies have been rock-solid all season. The Brazilians have registered 77 points thanks to 25 wins in 28 games played. Banyana Ba Style has scored a league-high 107 goals and has conceded only 12 times, the best defense in the league. The Brazilians also have an incredible goal difference of +95 and are most likely set to leave for Morocco as crowned Hollywoodbets Super League Champions.
