Football is called “the beautiful game” for many reasons. There is beauty in a bicycle kick; in a series of stepovers and a well-timed sliding tackle. But perhaps the most beautiful part of the game is the moment when a goal is scored.
Life can sometimes be unfair and unpredictable and no one can dictate where one will be born. More so, no one has absolute control over what manner of upbringing or neighbourhood one will experience at a tender age.
Mamelodi Sundowns has continuously been on the fore front when it comes to promoting grassroots football across both the men's and women’s teams. Over the years, the club’s structures have prioritised the personal, physical, technical, tactical, psychological and social development of talented youngsters across the country.
Over the years, Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club has been blessed with foreign players who have etched their names on the corridors of Chloorkop.
